Introduction: Never Alone in the Battle
You know, spiritual warfare is happening around us all the time. But it’s a great comfort to me, as I think about the enemy’s plans and what goes on, to know that God has specific angelic beings assigned to my life to protect me and preserve me as I pursue Jesus. So, I want to share with you signs that angels are working in your home and working in your life.
You’re never alone. You have guardian angels. You have angels on assignment to keep you safe and sound as a follower of Jesus. So, please, dear child of God, don’t let fear get into your heart. Don’t let it get in. God literally has armies assigned to keep you safe in these seasons so that you can enter the breakthrough and you can go to where Jesus wants you to go.
One of the greatest deceptions the enemy has in our life is to believe that we have a giant devil and a small God. But that is not the case. We have a giant army of angels, and the Lord, the living God, is greater than anything we could face surrounding us all the time. And we enter into those moments with faith. But here’s a big key: your eyes must be open to see the army that is with you. So I pray over you right now in Jesus’ name that your eyes would be open. That all of us, Father, would have open eyes to see that there are more with us than there are with them.
A Deep Sense of Peace and Protection
The first sign is this deep sense of peace that just washes over your home, knowing that you are kept by the Lord.
As per the biblical story, a servant of the man of God went out in the morning and left the place, and all around the city horses and chariots were seen. The servant asked, “Woe to us, O my lord; how shall we do?” The reply given was, “Do not fear, for they who are with us are more than they who are with them.” He said, “O LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw.
I feel the Lord wants to release over you today a word, and this word is a reminder: there are more with you than there are with them. You know, this year in 2026, I feel everything’s about to get turned over. Like what can be shaken or what will be shaken is going to be shaken this year. And it’s going to get into some of our personal lives as well, where we feel the shaking going on, and it’s looking terrifying. But God is saying to you, angels are ministering to you right now. That they’re in your home, and there’s more with you than there are with them.
And when I can embrace this word, the peace that comes with seeing the army of the Lord surrounding me can be released, and I can operate in a new sense of rest and protection. He’s with you right now.
An Increase in the Activity of God in Your Home
The second sign that angels are surrounding you and they’re in your home is that the activity of God in your home begins to increase.
This is a passage from the book of Genesis in which Jacob dreams at Bethel. He sleeps, sets up a stone as a sign, and then he lies down, saying, “I have seen the Lord who was standing above it, and he said to me: ‘I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. I will give to you and your descendants the land on which you lie.'” This is followed by the Lord making provision, blessings, and the covenant. It is important to note that after he enters the place where angels of God work, the divine presence is more pronounced there.
Assessing Your Home’s Environment
I would like to challenge you to take stock of your home. What’s the environment of your home like? Is the environment of your home chaos? Does the environment of your home feel like a place that’s more full of the activity of the enemy? Or are you noticing, “Hey, the activity of God, the character of Christ, and His things are increasing in my house?” Because if you are, then angels are present in your home working on your behalf right now. They are ministering spirits sent by God on behalf of the saints—that’s you and me.
So think about this:
- Are you getting dreams?
- Are you having visions?
- Are you hearing the Holy Spirit more when you’re in your home?
These are all signs the angels are working.
I’ve noticed that, for me, since we’ve moved into this house, the activity of God has increased. I get more dreams, I get more visions, I hear the word of the Lord more clearly. Part of that is that we own the home and we’ve claimed it for Jesus, and so now there’s this increase. I believe angels are ministering in my home all the time. The Lord has even opened my eyes to see; He’s shown me that three angels are out in front of my home; they are behind me all the time—I really believe this—and there’s one that sits on the roof of my house. I believe God has placed them on assignment in this place to bring blessing, protection, wholeness, and to cover my home so that the activity of the devil can’t get in.
In fact, there have been other homes where demonic activities have found their way in. Our first home in our native city where we currently live was a demonic place. I used to wake up at midnight, and I had to go to the bathroom, and I could actually feel this wicked spirit in my home, and I said to myself, “What is this?” And then I had to pray and rebuke. However, after the angels of God started increasing in our home, we got more spiritual activities going on: peace, healing, and hope. They are on assignment for you.
How to Invite God’s Activity
So pay attention, my friend. Pay attention to your house, because angels are here ready to move. Do you see the activity of God increasing or decreasing? And if you’re noticing that it’s not going the right way, here’s what I would encourage people to do: set certain times when the work on Jesus will be done, hence increasing the presence of the Lord in the household. In seeking after Jesus at home, it will mean that the presence of Him and also that of His angels and ministering spirits should be made manifest there. Therefore, change the manner of speaking, talking, and doing things because one will notice the working of angels in a new way at home, which will make God’s purposes known.
Deliverance and Freedom Replacing Bondage
The third sign that angels are working in your home is that there’s deliverance in your home. This is a big thing about your home. It’s sort of similar to the other one, but is your home a place where you experience deliverance or bondage? Because your home is not meant to be a place like a prison. If you feel your home’s a prison, something’s wrong in the spirit. And it needs to be addressed by you. Now, we must learn to work with the Spirit and ask Him, “Spirit, what is happening in our home?”
However, your home should feel like heaven. Because when the activity of God moves into a place, even prison doors open. And so, we see this with Peter and James. James is killed, and Peter, the apostle of Christ, is thrown in jail. He’s thrown in jail, and they’re going to plan on killing him, too. But then what happened is that in the middle of the night, an angel invaded the prison. The story goes as follows:
“Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the thigh to wake him up and said, “Quickly, get up!” Then the chains fell off his wrists. After passing the first guard and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading to the city, which opened by itself; they went out and walked along, and behold, the angel left him.”
When you’re in the place of angels ministering, part of your deliverance will be angels assigned to wake you up to what’s happening around you, to pull you out of what’s going on around you. So, if there are places of bondage that have been in your life where you’ve been used to them, the angels of the Lord are going to—part of their ministering habits is to wake you up so that you see the prison that you’re in. And it’s time for the day of freedom.
So when angels are in your home, you’re going to have these aha moments where you realize that you’re in the prison, and it’s time that the prison gets turned into a palace. You’re going to be led to the place where freedom can really break through in your life. You’re going to pass through those demons, those guards that want to hold you back, and you’re going to enter into your deliverance.
Well, even I have wondered about the way angels are supposed to look. For instance, take a look at this picture of the way angels were depicted in the Bible. These could be considered as cherubim or seraphim angels. Now, isn’t that a terrifying sight? It is scary. It is like saying, “Oh my goodness! This is what exists in the spirit around you at present and ministering on your behalf of God.” This guy doesn’t want anything to do with this angel. If something like that exists at your home, he is not going to stay there anymore.
And so, I want you to pay attention to something in your house, in your home, and in your world: Do you feel like you’re entering into bondage, or do you feel you’re entering into deliverance? Because if you’re entering into deliverance and if your home is this refuge, angels are ministering in your home on your behalf, and they are performing spiritual warfare over you and your family to keep you safe and sound.
Conclusion: Recognizing Spiritual Warfare and Health
And so on this note, there are times when we enter into spiritual warfare, and there are times when spiritual warfare goes after our physical health. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced that where you feel like your health is under attack. Well, there are signs that we can look at that the spiritual warfare we face is actually demonic in terms of sickness. That the sickness is demonic. And I want to show you those right here.
