Introduction to Spiritual Protection
A lot of people ignore doing this in their prayer life, but it stops spiritual attacks before they begin. So, we’re going to pray protection over ourselves, our families, and our loved ones. And this is going to cancel the assignments of the enemy that are coming against you.
Releasing Angels and Blocking the Enemy
Father, we just thank you that you are creating a shield and a wall around us. Father, we release your angels to protect us, to guard us, to be our safeguard in the night, to be our safeguard for our future. Lord, we thank you that you have angels on assignment over our life to cancel the attacks of the enemy before they even begin.
Lord, we thank you that you are blocking devils. You are blocking spiritual assault, so it cannot get into our world. So, we thank you for this in the name of Jesus Christ. We release this in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you, Lord, that through prayers like these, the enemy cannot touch us.
Lord, we agree together and even plead your blood to protect our family, our home, our mind, our will, our emotions, and our future.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we speak and release the devil. In Jesus’ name, you will not touch us. You cannot touch us. The Lord has us, and even when it seems like we are in the valley of the shadow of death, Lord, I thank you, we fear no evil because you are with us. So, Father, we acknowledge your presence. We acknowledge your purpose. We acknowledge your plans.
Overcoming Fear and Trusting God’s Plan
There’s a lot of you, and I feel this right now in my spirit, that your life has often been encapsulated by fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of the future, fear of what’s going to happen, fear of what’s going ahead, and the Lord says to you, and I just feel this in my heart, to remind yourself that there are plans of God for you.
There are plans of the Lord for you, that He’s for you and not against you. And you can walk in and receive the plans of God. That God is lining up your steps. So don’t be afraid of your step faltering. Hear His voice. Know that where He’s calling you, He will keep you. Where He’s assigned you, He will maintain you.
You don’t have to be afraid of the future and you certainly don’t have to be afraid of the devil. He’s a withering branch. He is cut off and he is nothing and he is under our feet. The Lord says He’s our protector, our healer, and our deliverer. He says it through His word.
And so today, Father, in agreement, we receive that truth. You are our protector and Lord, you yourself are assigned to keep us. And we believe this, so we speak and release that protecting presence over our life. Over every step we take, we thank you, Father, the devil cannot touch us and he cannot have us.
Dwell in the Shelter of the Most High: Psalm 91
And I felt to read and speak over you Psalm 91. This is very powerful and you should be ruminating on scriptures like this every single day. But here’s what Psalm 91 says over you. This is something I’ve been doing and I think it’s good for you:
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Lord, we release an abiding presence. We choose to dwell in the shelter of the Most High. And the Lord is calling you to His shelter. The Lord is calling you to His place. It’s through time in His presence, time seeking Him through His word, time in prayer. It draws you to the shelter of the Most High and you begin to abide in His shadow. He overshadows you. As you go about your day, stay in the shelter and do not come out.
“And I will say of the LORD, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!'”
Father, we reassign our speech in Jesus’ name. We reassign our speech to begin to speak in Jesus’ name from a position of trust and faith that you say in your word, “You are our refuge, our fortress. We trust you. We trust you.” We put our faith in you as a refuge and a strong tower, and the enemy cannot get to us because we are sheltered by God.
So, devil, what do you have over our lives? What do you have in us? You have nothing, and you are nothing, and we see you as nothing. And you may have tried to creep into our world, but by the authority of Jesus Christ, there’s a rejection coming to you. Right now, today, there’s a rejection of your will, devil, of your plans, devil. They’re cut off. The assignment and plans of Jesus are over us. The assignment and plans of God are over our lives, so you are rejected and a dejected foe. You have no place in our world, so get out in Jesus’ name. We claim and take it back because we are under the shelter of the Most High and a refuge and a fortress.
Faithfulness as a Shield and Buckler
And it says in His word:
“Out of the trap of the fowler and out of the noisome pestilence He will protect you. Under His wings shall you trust. His truth shall be your shield and buckler. That is a wall for you.”
Father, thank you for faithfulness. Man, I feel His presence right now. Thank you for your faithfulness showing up. He’s been faithful, and He will continue to be faithful, and as you lean into His faithfulness, it is your shield, and it is your rampart. It is your wall that blocks the enemy. So, trust in the faithfulness of God because He will not abandon you. He won’t give up on you. Know that the Lord has you from this day forward forevermore because you are His and He is yours and He is faithful.
Rejecting Fear and Embracing the Lord
You will not fear the terror of night. Fear is a liar. Can you pray that today? Speak that right now in Jesus’ name. We walk in agreement, Father. Fear is a liar. We cut off fear. Every fear of the future, every spirit, ominous spirit that wants to come over us, we cut it off in Jesus’ name. Fear, you are a liar. We disown you in the name of Jesus.
- We won’t be afraid of the dread of night.
- We won’t be afraid of the valley of the shadow of death.
- We won’t be afraid since the enemy’s schemes have been thwarted from the start.
- We aren’t afraid of the dread of night or the arrow flying in the day, neither the plague that walks in darkness, nor the pestilence that destroys at nood
We aren’t afraid of what is going on in the world. We don’t fear the enemy, Lord. We fear Jesus. We fear the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So, Lord, we will know what to do because we do not fear the enemy. We fear God. We fear God in life and we embrace trust in your faithfulness.
And it reminds you today, and this is a big one, because so many of us see things happening around us in people’s lives and that fear wants to take a hold, but He says a thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, but it will not come near you. I want you to hear this today. It will not come near you. What is normal in the world will not be normal for you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
Since you have taken refuge in the Lord, the Most High who is my stronghold, no harm shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. Father, I thank you our home is guarded. We speak and release that guarding. We pray over ourselves protection. That the enemy cannot come in. Hide us, Lord. Hide us in your plans. Hide us from the enemy in these days when so much is going on in the world. Conceal us, Father, in your presence. Let us enjoy your presence. That rather than fear, we would enjoy faithfulness from the Lord. That we would pray and trust and believe that our hope would be high. And that we would understand that no devil, no weapon formed against us is going to prosper. The plague’s not coming near our tent. We are delivered in Jesus’ name.
Angelic Guarding and Victory Under Our Feet
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. There are angels assigned for our life, Lord. We thank you for our angels. We thank you for those spiritual beings assigned to protect us and guard us and be around us and keep us. Lord, we believe that they’re here. They’re present. They’re following us because you’ve given them to keep the enemy out. So, in faith, Lord, we thank you that your angels are working, not demons, your angels. And the demons cannot find us in the name of Jesus Christ.
On their hands they will bear you up lest your foot strike against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder. And the young lion and serpent you will trample under foot. Thank you, Father, the devil’s under our feet. But be reminded that that’s where he lives. He’s under your feet. He’s under your feet. Would you see that the assignment against your life is already under your feet? Even if it doesn’t feel like it, it is. It is under your feet. Walk in Jesus’ name forward in His presence. Forward in His goodness. Forward in His grace. And don’t let the enemy deceive you into believing that he’s bigger than he is. No, he is a foe that is defeated and under your feet.
Conclusion and Call to Prayer
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him. There’s a deliverance over you. “I will protect him.” There’s a protection over you. Why? Because he knows my name. Know the name of the Lord and be intimate and close with God. Know Him, seek Him, spend time with Him, and you will discover deliverance and protection because there’s a knowing of His name.
“When he calls to me, I will answer him.” Call on the Lord. Lord, we call on you in faithfulness. We call on your answers. We call on your presence. We call on your voice. We speak and connect to you. “I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
The Lord wants to show you His salvation. He wants to show you His goodness. So, Father, we release and receive that protection. Father, that you’ve rescued us. You’re with us in trouble. And there is long life. Long life awaits us in Jesus’ name. And we receive that long life. And we receive that freedom. And we receive that hope in the name of Jesus Christ. And we will not go left, and we will not go right, but we will stay faithful and true in the name of Jesus. It is done. Thank you, Lord.
